Once Upon A Time
Stephen, the company's founder, woke up one day and discovered
that he had no friends. Well, none that could hang out with him. His
regular friends were either busy or didn't reply.
So he gave up...
He pitched the idea to friends started writing the CaughtUp app.
Everyday, it seems that the stars and the heavens need to align for
people to meet up. It doesn't have to be this way.
Today, the CaughtUp team is preparing to launch their android and ios app in **May 1, 2023**.
About CaughtUp
Our mission is to eliminate the friction that kills spontaneous moments, so you can double your social life without doubling the effort. Why We Built CaughtUp
We don't think spontaneous moments should die in logistics hell. But for most people, they do.
Group chats become chaos. Great ideas get buried in endless back-and-forth. By the time everyone's "checking their schedules," the moment's already passed. The friction of planning literally kills the magic of being spontaneous.
📊 According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, full-time students have an average of 4 hours of free time on weekdays. And from our own research, 70% of people would rather spend that time with others—no matter the activity.
So we built CaughtUp: the world's first Fomo Fighter. It transforms scattered ideas into instant plans, removes coordination chaos, and helps you seize every social opportunity without the hassle.
- ⚡ Go from idea to plan in under a minute—no coordination chaos
- 🎯 Capture spontaneous moments before they slip away forever
- 🚀 Turn scattered friend groups into a connected social engine
- đź’Ž Double your social life without doubling the effort
CaughtUp isn't just an app—it's your Fomo Fighter, designed to multiply your social opportunities without the planning pain that usually kills them.
About Our Philosophy
In a world where great ideas die in group chats, we believe spontaneous moments should actually happen. We all have dozens—sometimes hundreds—of friends online, but when was the last time a random "let's hang out" actually turned into hanging out?
CaughtUp exists to capture those fleeting moments of social magic. We believe the best experiences are spontaneous, but logistics shouldn't kill spontaneity. That's why we built the world's first Fomo Fighter—to turn scattered ideas into real adventures, without the coordination chaos.
Our motto—"From idea to plan in under a minute"—isn't just about speed. It's about protecting the magic of spontaneous connection and making sure great moments actually happen instead of getting lost in logistics hell.
About Our Journey
Building CaughtUp has taught us a lot—about friendship, time, and the quirks of modern life. From early sketches to real-world feedback, we've learned by doing, failing, and doing it better. And we don't believe those lessons should stay behind the scenes.
Have a question about our process, philosophy, or what we've learned along the way? We're happy to share. Transparency builds connection—and that's what CaughtUp is all about.
